Environmental & Social Policy

It is an integral part of Brilliant's vision to develop, manage and operate modern, efficiently designed warehouses with green building technology across China. We aspire to achieve this vision in an ethical and sustainable manner. The purpose of implementing this policy is to integrate corporate environmental and social responsibility into our businesses. We endeavor to balance environmental considerations and social responsibility with our long term business goals. We believe this approach can benefit our customers, employees, shareholders and the communities we serve if we proactively follow this policy and continually improve. Brilliant is committed to ensuring our consultants and contractors adhere to the following:


  • Prevent pollution to the environment;
  • Utilize resources efficiently (energy, water, etc);
  • Minimize waste generation and greenhouse gas emission;
  • Reuse and recycle materials; and
  • Adopt renewable energy.

Health and Safety

  • Provide safe and healthy work environment;
  • Inspect and reduce hazards and risks in work places to prevent injuries and illnesses; and
  • Avoid hazardous storage and minimize community safety risk.

Labor and Working Conditions

  • Comply with local labor laws and regulations;
  • Prohibit any form of child or forced labor;
  • Respect and protect worker's rights; and
  • Guarantee non-harassment and discrimination in all ways.


  • Respect the value of local culture;
  • Minimize any impacts on local communities; and
  • Develop a strong, cooperative, and communicative relationship with stakeholders and affected communities.

Roles and Responsibilities

Our COO is responsible for implementing this policy. Our Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Department and EHS Coordinator are responsible for EHS performance in our daily business. Brilliant's employees, consultants and contractors will comply with all applicable regulations of the People's Republic of China as well as the IFC Performance Standards on Environmental and Social Sustainability and applicable EHS Guidelines.
